Installation

Installing this game is very simple.

Minimum Requirements:

CPU: 1.3 GHz Intel Pentium IV or AMD Athlon processor

RAM: 256 MB RAM

VGA: 32 MB or greater DirectX 9.0b compatible supported AGP video card (GeForce2+ / Radeon 7500+)

DX: DirectX 9.0b

OS: Windows 2000/XP

HDD: 4 GB available hard disk space

Sound: DirectX 9.0b compatible sound card

ODD: 8X Speed CD/DVD-ROM

Can I just say that the game has technology to stop pirate copies from working and sometimes may occur even if you've bought it from a shop. Basically, it won't read the disc.

If you have those requirements or better ones (Which you'll probably have) you should be ok.

Insert the disc into your PC/Laptop and let the setup make changes to your computer. It will then come up with the game start up menu. Click on "Install". Then it will ask you to type in your serial key which you can find on the back of your manual. Here are some serial keys just in case you've lost the manual or it's not in there.

After that it will ask you what type of user you are.

Typical = Folder is put in C Drive = Program Files (x86) = EA Games = The Battle for
 Middle-Earth  (tm).

Advanced = Put anywhere you want.

Then it will start to install. Once it gets to 64% which is the support file it doesn't freeze. It just takes a lot longer than the other files to load. Also, when my laptop was on my lap, the installation failed. When I put it onto a table it worked. Probably because it's at a angle but that's something you should take note of. After it's installed, it will ask you if you want to launch the game. Click that and it will start. You are done!
